Carrick on Shannon recently received the Purple Flag status in recognition of its evening and night-time economy which offers the highest quality dining, pubs & entertainment for a safe and enjoyable night out.
Come along to the Tourist Office Car Park, the Quays, Carrick-on-Shannon this Saturday 5th December, 2015 at 3 p.m. to see Santa Claus arrive by boat and then raise the Purple Flag with his helpers.
The switching on of the Christmas Lights will take place at 4.15pm in the Market Yard - with loads of entertainment, shopping and activities for all the family and 2 hours free parking.
